I’m jazzed
I’ve got this feeling
Like I really know
And I probably don’t
But I like the feeling
Of going in the right direction
I really am this time
I’ve got a clearer picture
And part of that is thanks to a friend
Things are different now
Everything feels quite different
Places and people alike
Months were spent
People became friends
Places became familiar
But now it all feels a little off
And yet something feels right
A new job and new friends
I got to know some people better
And I’ve met some new people
It’s different now
You see,
The thing is…
I met someone
And while I think of you
It’s not what we had
It’s new and it’s different
I don’t know if it’ll last
But I like what I’m feeling
I like how he and I started off
